I am not blaming AG for this... well not totally.
My husband made some changes to our systems and now my AG's show as off-line. No matter what I try I can not get them connected again. I even removed the app cleared all data involved and nada.
So for now I will leave the app off the phone. Of course I needed the app today to lift the lights but since I could not I was bad and got up on the step stool and did it myself without incident. Of course I got caught LOL.
The AG part is one that they do not show MAC addresses. I contacted them about this with no answers at all as of yet. These are needed for my husband to correct my wi-fi issues.

Yikes! I'm glad the stool incident was uneventful....and glad you got caught too! Sigh.

No. I know it is not our wifi as I can not even get to that. It is telling me the AG's are off-line. I have no clue how to do that or un-do that so I have a message into them

Is it single band or dual? If dual, you may need a way to direct the AGs to the 2.4ghz. What happens when you hit the little wi-fi symbol on the AG? |

I have no clue, but this is in my husbands wheelhouse so he knows what to check and do. I don't I leave it up to him. He has been in this type of business for over 20 years and trust me if there is something to check he will check and fix if doable.  |

Shawn, I've been connecting AGs to Wi-Fi recently. It is probably easiest to connect with the app and the buttons on the AG. For each garden, tell the app, AG, or both to forget the existing network. Then you will be able to go through the screens that let you select the network again, and type in the network password again. When you get to the "scan bar code" screen, write down the number on the bar code picture, and tell the app that the code won't scan (there's a link) so you can manually enter the bar code info. Then you should be connected unless Mark has set the router to deny network access to new devices. If he has set the network to deny access, then the AG should show as "blocked" in the router app, along with the MAC address for the AG. If the router app doesn't give this info, then it's easiest to tell the router to "allow all new devices to connect" and to connect using the AG method described in the first paragraph of this post. Once the AGs are connected, the router can be reset to deny access to new devices. Probably the network needs to be broadcasting for the AG to offer the network for you to select. Since Mark disconnected your AGs, it seems to me that it would be only fair for him to reconnect them for you! 😄
