OK, who AG'd on Black Friday? Yesterday I looked at the Bounty Basic for $149.00, but that is only a 30W hood. The same as the old Ultras. I wanted the Bounty Elite with 50w, but they haven't been below $319. Then today I found the 40w Bounty for $199 from AG. I bought two.
How much you want to bet the Elite drops to say $250 either tomorrow or Monday?

After seeing your post, I decided to get a $200 Bounty to replace the old Bounty that has a touchscreen but no wireless. I miss being able to use the app with that garden! It counts as a Christmas gift. I'll keep the old garden boxed up in the garage, for occasional use--and to keep me from buying any more!   |

I bought the two to move the 3rd plants from all four Bounties growing now. I only want two plants per unit. One will have a Jalapeno and a Poblano. The other will have an Anaheim and a Pepperoncini. Where I'm going to put them is still up in the air.

Unfortunately, my Aerogarden buying is on hold.
Right now I'm planning on how I will get rid of all the stuff we have accumulated to prepare for my move home, hopefully this coming year.
But it still takes a lot of self control to avoid the Aerogarden sales!

Sher, you're so right not to buy any more stuff when you're planning to move. AGs are on sale all the time, so you won't be missing any truly extraordinary deals.

I probably shouldn't have bought the Bounties. I have Ultras I could have used. But they are old and I don't feel the LEDs are as powerful as when I bought them. I have no technical knowledge as to whether I need to be concerned about that, but I feel they are as effective on pepper plants any more.
Another thing, I am a sucker on Black Friday. I need to be locked away from the deals.

I didn't buy any AG's on Black Friday...but I did receive a lot of emails (admails?) from the throughout the day. Instead of the usual, one a day. However, I did buy a new steak grill!  I had been keeping an eye out to see if it would go on sale and it did. Also used up my credit card "rewards" to further lower the price. Other than that, I resisted! |

I was able to pick up a new combination oven for my parents. To be honest, I would have bought this for them any time of the year. I watched my Dad pull some fish sticks out of their regular oven and as light as that may be he struggled with it a bit. The is a countertop oven that is a microwave, convection and heat. It is also an air fryer. It is by Panasonic and they call it the "Elvis" oven. He won't have to bend over to get the food out.
Fortunately, my sister offered to pay half, so I was able to get the best one out there.

P.S. mike, there are some nice (& free) printable Air Fryer charts online. I printed one out and taped it inside of the cabinet door nearest to my machine. It is a helpful reference and easier than trying to find the manual and any info it might have. |
