That's OK. I don't think I'll be disappointed with 40-watt Bounties. Now to find a place for them.

My Bounty, ordered the same day as yours, arrived a few minutes ago (Thursday, 12/2/21). AG sure didn't leave any time for us to change our minds, mike. I'm going to like the 40 watt wireless Bounty, too. Am debating whether to try transferring the tomatoes from the old touchscreen Bounty. Probably won't, because the roots have gotten very large.

I figure you have about a month to move a plant. After that, your trimming roots in a lot of cases. The plants I have to move will be difficult.
I just checked tracking, mine are supposed to be here today. I redirected the delivery to a Walgreens to prevent porch pirates.

Great! 1 was at Walgreens, the other on my doorstep. At least I got it.

Ditto mike! Especially at this time of the year, the creeps follow the delivery trucks around! But, I'm sure you knew that, so you tried to insure your receipt! When I've had to return something or ship seeds to someone...when the clerk asks what it is (they do that at the UPS Store), I use AG's description, "Indoor Gardening Supplies." They look at me funny, I just smile.

Wow, these new Bounties hold a quart more water than the old ones.

Does look interesting and I did bookmark it, so thanks! But I'm holding on to my money in case of good AG Black Friday deals. I'd love another Bounty or Bounty Elite, and considering I paid $135 for a 40W Bounty on sale direct from AG recently, I'm hopeful. Plus, I've spent under $100 total on TWO Harvest Elite Slim models within the last month. That's THREE nice AGs for $235, so I'm willing to sit back, wait and see.

It's okay to talk about non-AG systems, badmwnrizn. The forum has a whole section devoted to "Other Hydroponic Systems". aerogardenaddicts.com/board/17/hydroponic-systemsI'm a little leery of the Famistar brand, though. As a long-tme Amazon shopper and reviewer, I'm suspicious of any electronics that look exactly like a well-established, name-brand device. (For example, cheap robot vacuum cleaners don't clean as well as Roombas.) Also, the Famistar product page photos for treadmills make them look much taller and larger than they are, by superimposing scaled-down photos of people who appear to be running on the treadmills. Caveat emptor!

I like the extra 6", I always grow tall veggies like Dwarf Snow Peas, Brussel Sprouts, Chili Peppers and the like. I can add an external grow light if needed. I use my AG farm for Tomatoes.

I get that! Keep us posted on how this garden works out! I do have some old tall AG gardens that I can use for taller things like Italian dandelions, chard, kale, etc... at least until I run out of bulbs. The extra 6" might be nice, but not necessarily essential for me. And having a few spare bulbs, I've got a bit of time to be patient and shop sales.

No problem; there is a section of the forum dedicated to non-AG systems.

Since I purchased an Idoo a couple years ago and not being fond of it I have hesitated to even look at 3rd party systems. However, this one intrigued me for the price and the features. I put it in my Amazon cart so I can find it again if I decide to try it. I will however wait and see what Black Friday sales Aerogarden comes up with before trying purchasing another off brand. Thank for posting the link!

I have a couple of knock offs that I like pretty well... a Spider Farmer unit and a LetPot. Neither of them measures up to an AG but they were significantly less $$.

Sorry for late response, it has been a busy few weeks. I received my RGBING units and have had them planed about a week now. brussel sprouts and snow peas have sprouted. These are pretty nice units, not as nice as AG but for the price they are great. The only thing I don't care for is that the pump does not feed water to each induvial pod it only keeps the tank water mixed. The pod or roots must be touching the water in the tank so you must watch the water level until the roots reach the water.
Oh and the Smart Home app does not offer as much control as the AG app.

I think it's common for the knock-offs to not have water pumped to each pod. Both the Spider Farmer and the LetPot units simply have a water "spout" in the tank and no delivery to each pod. It seems to work pretty well. I'm glad the RGBING units are a good value; thanks for the review.
