Does anyone know why the new Bounties light cycle for peppers is shorter than everything else? The old Bounties and the Farms have peppers at 16-1/2 hours on. It's only 15 hours on for the new Bounties. Have you heard anything about this?

I just went to the phone app to change them to match the others.

I saw that too mike. I have no clue why. Maybe they do not need as much as once thought I too change mine to match others.

I have noticed they say they need at least 15 hours. I don't know.

I have noticed they say they need at least 15 hours. I don't know. My FarmXL Pepper Garden is set for 15 hours too. That's how it came. And the same on Tomatoes and Herbs too...all in Farm machines from this year. My Bounties are Bounty Elite Artisan machines, currently growing flowers and they say they are set for 14.5 hours/day. Do you think it has anything to do with the wattage? I guess not, if your Farms are saying 16.5?

I don't think it's wattage, the new Bounties are 40w, the old ones were 45w.
To be honest, I think AG was getting complaints the lights are on too long each day. I don't think it has much to do with whether it's good for the plant or not.

I always set the lights in my other hydroponics systems for 14 hours a day and they did great.
That's how much daylight we have here in midsummer from sunrise to sunset, too.
Khang Starr sets his lights to 12 hours.

If I were still living in my very first apartment, a "studio", I don't think I could live with the lights on soooo long?

I've just gotten used to it. I did buy light masks though. That way my sleep isn't affected.
