waterphoenix, it is. I use the napoletano especially in my marinara sauce. It looks a lot like the lettuce basil but taste differently.

I went to check the water levels in the bowl and the basil is exploding. This Napoletano leaves are HUGE.... I will get a picture tomorrow.

Grrr, I forgot to take a before. But I trimmed my plants back. I measured one of the Napoletano leaves.

No. This has an anise flavor so will use it in sauce.

I did not take pictures, Mark and I are beat, sore and tired from clearing snow this morning. However I did trim all the basil except the Windowbox. I froze alot of basil. I will be making some sauce this week.

While not much of a difference that can be seen in pictures, I did trim a LOT off all plants. Will be using some in dinner tonight,

I terminated this garden. I have SOOOOO much basil I have no more room for any more. My neighbor uses it and thought to see of she needed any. She took all 4 plants and is going to freeze a lot and also plant in dirt the rest. I shiver as I think of planting in dirt and having it in my home....
She was so thankful.
This machine has also been scrubbed and is getting ready for a different set of new herbs. Here they are before going to their new home.
