Very quiet here. Mark watched TV, played his game and is napping. I cleaned, make chicken Parm cutlets, heated food and vacuumed.
I am just sitting here watching TV and nothing good is on.
It feels like just another day. the sun finally come out but more rain tonight. Near 50 here. When Mark gets up we will have dessert.

Was a day of cooking at Mom and Dad’s, as always on a holiday - and, as always, well worth it!! Prime rib slow-roasted all day, lobster, and grilled corn on the cob. With grilled poppers and almost entirely home-grown salad as an appetizer. We ate good today! There is also pecan pie that we made yesterday and had some for breakfast, but everyone was too full for dessert lol

I made Albondigas & took some to MIL along with a plate of Christmas Eve dinner, since she begged off on coming over. Sigh. We got her a sound bar for her TV, since she hinted last week that she missed having one. We got it set up today, after a few false starts! But it is working now and she loves it. We're probably going to have a grazing plate around dinner time today. I'll put out a selection of nibbles that didn't go out as appetizers yesterday...and I'll make some kind of oven baked sliders, I think. And we'll be set. Maybe we can get into the dessert that we didn't have room for yesterday...  |
