I got to looking at my GAL Flowers, admiring them and just generally enjoying them. Then I realized they are 64 days growing now, likely at their prime. And that made me think, I don't want to be without flowers in the kitchen! They are such a bright spot, in more than one way...
So, today, I started a new flower garden in the other Bounty.
Planted in a Bounty Elite Artisan 'Hippie Tie Dye' Rainbow Plume Celosia from Renee's Garden 3 seeds per pod, 9 pods planted Park Seed Sponges Will add nutes once germinated (positive thinking!!)

Thanks lynnee, Shawn and waterphoenix! It looks like they should be a very bright spot in the kitchen! I don't know why I didn't think of "rotating" the Bounty machines before! Plant them and let them mature in the "office" and then bring them out to enjoy the show when there's something to see!

So....later in the day on Day 27, all of the Hippie Tie Dye plants fainted! Nothing changed. Maybe they are camera shy?
Not knowing what was wrong, but gut telling me it is a bit warm in here. I've recently cut back on the time that the fan runs, but it wasn't yet off...
I drained off a bit of the water and then added a few ice cubes to the bowl. Additionally, I raised the lights a lot. I propped up each plant using one of my little Garden "Gnomes" (ha, ha). Then I left them alone and watched a movie (Ghostbusters Afterlife, decent movie, better in the 2nd half...main gripe is they don't play the theme song until the end credit! What's up with that?? Later, we heard that Ivan Reitman passed...RIP! )
After the movie, I checked on them and they had all recovered! I left the light up high and this morning they seem to be reaching for it. I think I'll keep adding ice in the afternoons...

Day 40: I've moved these from the Bounty over to a Harvest. There are flowers starting, but it is a lousy picture. Sorry! I have cleaned the Bounty in preparation for moving some of the GAL seedlings into the Bounty machines. I'm thrilled to report it was NOT a fight to disassemble the deck. Bob's your uncle, I think I've finally got it down, at least for the Bounty machines!
