I've planted some more lettuce! The plan is to keep a good supply of greens in the gardens.  So, today I planted 4 pods using AG sponges and seeds as outlined below. I tried to put about 5 or 6 in each, but they are so small it is hard to see if they are whole or not, etc. Anyway, wish me lots of salad! Merlot (Free Seeds from Baker Creek) Parris Island Cos (Baker Creek) Dragoon (Johnny's Seeds) Monte Carlo (Johnny's seeds)  |

I liked the Dragoon. I only eat romaine styles so I have not tried the others.

Day 21: This is a pretty garden. I would say that those liking the romaine types would be happy with the Parris Island, Dragoon and Monte Carlo. I think the Parris Island is on the crunchy side, Dragoon one step up and Monte Carlo is even more. Happy with this garden.  |

Day 26: So It wasn't the full 28 days, but we were on a roll today! After the R&R for the big peppers, we did the R&R for something easy...this newest lettuce farms. Not much to trim on roots, but I trimmed a bit, rinsed the roots well, cleaned the deck, fresh water, nutes and back to their spot.

Day 61: Ended this garden today. I harvested about 3 big bags of lettuce and we'll eat what we can eat. So, the Farm+24 Top unit has been turned off for the time being. Probably until the Fall.
