I was just out walking Mikkey, and discovered henbit blooming.
It is such a tiny flower. This stem is under 2" long. But I think the flowers look like little orchids.

I get such joy from these little, tiny flowers. You don't even see them unless you look straight down, then these sunny little faces reward your with unexpected beauty!

I just picked these while walking Mikkey. I was going to bring them inside to photograph, as I usually do. For some reason I hesitated, and decided to take the picture outside.
As I rolled the stems in my fingers to get them in position, the bottom of one leaf, covered with eggs, was exposed.
I am so glad I did not bring them inside!

Around here, we consider dog hair a fashion statement!  On one of my Corgi forums, a member told of the time she took a 14-hour plane ride to Europe. When she got there, it was breezy and she noticed the Corgi fur floating in the air. Ha, ha! |

Nice finds!
We have a few mushrooms in our yard and I have no clue what they are. So I just brush the tops off to kill them off. I do not want Piper getting to them as I have no clue what they are.
