It looks like I'm going to need to shut down soon. My parents recently had Covid. The Covid caused all sorts of problems. My Mom is now going to require round the clock care for her dementia. Even worse, my Dad's cancer has returned, and it does not look good. If he was 20, he would have a 50/50 chance. He is 83.
I'm trying to harvest what's left on the gardens. Then I will shut down. The gardens need to be relocated anyway. They need to be put out of the reach of my air conditioner.
I will try to keep looking in, but I'm not sure what this next year will have in store.

So sorry to hear this, mike. You and your parents have been in my thoughts ever since you mentioned that they were hospitalized with COVID. I'm glad that you aren't dealing with funerals, at least. It's good to know that you will still be checking in here. It's clear that you will be spending a lot of time on your parents' care, and they come first, of course. |

Thank you everyone. I will be busy for a while, but I am not going anywhere. If I spend any more time in a hospital without being a patient, they will have to put me on the payroll.
