I'm trying to imagine what oregano beer would taste like.
It's also nice to know about peppermint vs. spearmint. That should mean that peppermint teas have more medicinal properties than spearmint (although I like spearmint better.)

Also of note, for Traditional Chinese Medicine, spearmint is considered a warming herb, and peppermint a cooling one! Just found this out as I'm looking into using food to heal chronic imbalances, and am supposed to lean towards warming foods so I just ordered some spearmint seeds and will hold off planting the peppermint seeds for now. This also might help in determining what to use when, like peppermint for cooling treats in summer (where you'd also lean more towards sweet fruits with high water content), and spearmint in fall/winter, where it would blend nicely with savory warm soups, roasts, etc.
