Here are links to a couple of web sites that should prove invaluable to anyone who wants to grow strawberries in an Aerogarden. This one, Strawberryplants.org, has everything you might ever want to know about strawberries (history, botany, lists of best varieties by geographical region, nutritional requirements, diseases, best growing practices, etc.). If you want the information free of the web page ads, you can purchase a Strawberry Growing Master Manual (pdf), and get a free strawberry recipe book (pdf) along with the purchase. This one, Yara Fertilizers, gives you a list of fabulous technical articles aimed at commercial growers when you search for "strawberry". The article on Nutrient Deficiencies in Strawberries is priceless for the photographs of strawberries and strawberry leaves that are lacking in certain nutrients such as calcium, iron, manganese, etc. (Special thanks to agfarm for posting a link to the UK Yara site in another thread in this Vegetables and Fruit section.)

Those photis from Yara Fertilizers were an education!
Since we use mostly premixed fertilizers, I'm glad that most of them contain micronutrients. I have no idea how to fix a boron deficiency, for example.
Potassium and phosphorus deficiencies can be helped with bloom boosters. Calmag contains calcium, magnesium and iron. But how much to use is often a guessing game without equipment and patience that I don't have!
