Following areyoukittenme's lead, I started some Tom Thumb peas in a Bounty Elite today. Seeds were purchased from Amazon. I had to cut a slit in each sponge to insert a seed. I wonder whether all 9 seeds will germinate?

Ooh lynnee I'm excited! I think growing these in a Bounty is a fabulous idea! That bigger reservoir will be a great help once they get going and get thirsty.

All nine seeds have germinated! This one is farthest along.

The peas all have green sprouts and/or leaves, but two pods in back seem to have stalled out. If they don't produce leaves soon, I'll take them out. Maybe the Bounty is on a slightly slanted surface? So that the ones in back get less water?

The Kelvedon Wonder peas I'm growing had a couple stalls like that. What few roots they'd put out ended up rotting away. I think some seeds just run out of juice before they can push out a seedling big enough to make it on its own.

Just now I changed the pump setting to 60/00 (always on), because the slowpokes seem a bit dry. Time will tell!

I always break out a level to make sure my units are level. I find the slightest bit off can really make a difference on how the water flows.
