A lot of corking on that one.

Unconstrained by the hood on an Aerogarden, I just measured the Vezena Piperka at 42" - that's 3 1/2 feet. Strangely, it's kind of constrained by the lights being supported at 2 1/2 feet. I've been meaning to hang the lights from a ceiling hook, but haven't got around to it yet.

Hungarian Wax: The ripening. Looking at this picture also prompted me to get in there and clean out some of the dead leaves a bit.

So far my biggest Vezena is about 6" long. haven't yet seen the advertised foot-long, but this is still plenty big.

The Vezena Piperka plant is now 45 inches tall. Almost 4 feet. It's also 2 feet above the light panel feeding it. I really need to hang that panel so it can be high enough

I just sampled my first pepper to come from this pot!
In this case, it was a nice pink hungarian wax. Split it with pepper loving coworker.
It was surprisingly sweet, and surprisingly mild. In fact, relatively delicious.
It's almost enough to make me want to try some sweet peppers some day.
So far, the only two of the six plants that are actively showing fruit are the Vezena Piperka and the Hungarian Wax, although I'm seeing blossoms on three of the other four. The only one not popping blossoms is the Scotch Bonnet which, while looking extremely healthy, seems to be working by its own schedule.

Someday, I'm going to be able to do a dump & refill on this thing without spilling a half gallon of water.
I've almost automated it with separate drain and fill pumps, but wouldn't you know it, the fill hose up and fell out half way through.

And, lacking any support, the highest 4'+ branch has just tipped over and is hanging over the other pot.

And the hungarian wax peppers continue to produce odd, malformed, but ultimately tasty peppers. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk

The Vezena Piperka was a bit of a dud. Very good flavor, but no heat whatsoever. It's supposed to be at least Jalapeno heat.
This was the first on the plant and also the smallest. Let's hope the bigger ones do better.

What I've learned: As big as this thing is, it isn't big enough for six pepper plants. It's also frustrating. The golden greeks, the ones I thought I killed, are setting all sorts of fruit. So, the three capsicum annuum breeds, the Vezena Piperka, Golden Greeks and Hungarian Wax are all fruiting. The Capsicum Chinense: Not so much. The red habaneros are blossoming all over the place, but as much as I buzz them with the BtB, none seem to be setting. I see an occasional blossom on the Jamaican yellow mushrooms, but the Scotch bonnets still show no sign of blossoming. All the plants are looking VERY healthy, but the C. Chinenses just aren't doing anything. I think I'm going to go after them with Shawn-like zeal with my shears and do some serious trimming tomorrow.
