Aerogarden is again offering their un-ending "sale" price. (To run a continuous sale is illegal, I think.)
So their July 4th sale is again offering 30% off of everything. I seldom see them offer more than 30%.
I was going to order another harvest but the 30% off price is $113.
BUT, I can order a harvest anytime from amazon at $109 (same day delivery too).
Why would I buy directly from Aerogarden?

scarfguy, If you order from Aerogarden at the 30% sale price, you get free shipping (I think), easy warranty replacements, and a guarantee that you are getting the latest model of whatever size AG you select. I don't think that the neverending online sale prices for AGs are illegal, because the AGs are sometimes sold or at least offered elsewhere at the full retail price. I don't really know the law on this, though.

Holding an endless sale is a ploy to attract customers. Most likely, they sell their products at real prices, saying they've been discounted. After a while, they may raise the price even higher and say the sale is over. So it's better to buy on amazon, a more honest and reliable site

Hello and Welcome,
AG along with many other companies hold constant sales and to be honest isnt it a "ploy" for any company to attract customers? They are not a huge company like many think. With that said, Amazon is a great place to purchase Aerogardens as is Walmart and other companies that take returns easily. But Aerogarden will honor their warranty it within the period.
There are Pros and Cons with All companies out there.

So, what I've learned is that aerogarden's 30% off is their common retail price and consistent with the everyday Amazon price. HOWEVER, if you keep your eye open, you will occasionally see aerogarden offer selected items at 40% or 50% off. That is the true sale price.

However, I did buy some garden supplies there, including new flower seeds, which turned out to be cheaper and better. The purple roses I bought grew amazing. Jane.
