Can you believe we are going to be 5 years old? On the 5th we celebrate 5 years of Growing, Sharing and Enjoying the fruits (and veggies and flowers etc) with our Aerogardens.
Some of us are long time growers and others new to the hobby.
Share some special things you have grown or learned while with us here. Some of you followed from the now defunct forum that AGA took over from and others joined us here. We have many who lurk and for you that do, please take a moment to say hello. We love to hear from everyone.
So Happy Birthday AeroGarden Addicts Family!

That's so cool! Happy Fifth, AGA! I've learned so many things here--I guess the most important is how to hugely increase my tomato production by using CalMag and Koolbloom along with standard AG nutrients!

Happy 5th AGA!! This website taught me to not be afraid of trying new and weird plants - after all, you can always end it and plant something else if it doesn't grow!! And experiments are fun

Happy belated birthday to the AGA!
I grew strawberries last winter and it was fun. I copied a setup I saw on YouTube. It suggested air stones inside the bowl so I found a nice one on Amazon. I think I grew too many plants in one bounty because only two plants grew big roots. I picked about 6 strawberries total. Much less than what I would get from my outdoor garden.
I also tried the alpine strawberry but the flower wouldn’t get pollinated. Even when it was outdoors I never had a berry from this plant. Oh well~

birdsatflight, in my experience, strawberries are quite fussy to grow in an AG. I had reasonable success with Albions (bare roots) in a Farm--at least a couple dozen berries--but they needed weekly R&Rs and frequent pH checks. Then they got fungus gnats, so I had to terminate them.
