Last night was the first frost of the year here in NE Ohio. I am happy to report that my peppers, tomatoes, salad greens, and herbs ALL survived the first frost...
... That's because they are all thriving INSIDE the house in my aerogardens! Yeah for aerogardens!  |

Here in California we are enjoying our low 90's weather after some scorching days, including a 115 that feels like standing by a bonfire. |

Good one! Inside is a good place.
We are still getting soaked with rain from Ian. Going this still rain tomorrow. Ugh it is so wet and slushy out. It sloshes when Piper asked I go out.

In West Michigan it's been upper 30s in the morning the last three days. I just got back from a walk. It was 52° when I left. The stiff wind made it feel much colder. Brrrr...!

Took Piper for her morning routine and it was 35 degrees out. Sheesh way too early for this....

Sheesh! It is 73 here, right now. Supposed to get up to 87, but that won't be until late afternoon. We'll cool down, soon enough. In the meantime, time for one more camping trip! Or maybe 2?  |

Believe it or not, it's 59 degrees F. here, at 1:15 pm. That's really cold for October in the Bay Area.  |

I need a sweatshirt when it gets into the 40's. And long underwear, if we're sitting instead of walking.  |
