Someone mentioned (I think Dawn) that the Sprout is supposed to run it’s pump constantly. My new (and only Sprout) I don’t think I’ve ever heard running. I only recently started a Love Blooms in it so I didn’t know if it’s different in the beginning. Should I be calling the company? My pod is probably coming on 2 weeks old, and I’d hate to ruin it.

My sprout pumps are loud. You can also see the bubbles in the front transparent panel. I think they only run while the light is on, but I don't quite remember. If the lights are on and the pump isn't running, then a call to support is in order.

Mary,
lift the little gray lid over the pump and see if there is any bubbling. That will tell you if it is in operation. And, yes, it runs all the time except when the light is off . Then it stops bubbling.

As soon as the lights on my Sprout turn off for the night, the pump ceases to run and then starts back up when the lights come on the next day.

Thanks, guys. Today is the first day I actually did see some bubbles. Yay for that. Maybe the lights were off each of the other times I looked, but it’s between 2 tall machines so could be those lights were on and I didn’t notice the Sprout was off.
