I'm watching them, mike, because H is asking for peppers in his sandwiches! Thanks for the tip about the color, because I thought that I needed to wait until at least one turned red. I'll recheck the oldest ones tomorrow, because they look slightly orange in the photo, though not to the naked eye. Probably we'll sample a green one soon--it's hard to wait when they're getting close!

To get seeds you can let them ripen. But they are soft in a day or two once fully ripe. I wouldn't eat the green ones. But yellow to orange is perfect.

Harvested these two today. They taste a bit green, so I should have waited a little longer. There are plenty of green ones left to experiment with. The larger one is 2-1/2 inches across.
