Hi, from Music City USA. I never knew AeroGardens existed until I saw a friend post about hers on Facebook. I started reading about them and quickly realized that they have a huge following and are very addicting.
I've been a gardener my entire life, and like everyone this time of year, I'm ready to see something grow. Hubby checked out MarketPlace and this lady had an AeroGarden Ultra with everything included but the seeds for $30. Since this is all new to me, I thought this would be a good entry unit, so yesterday we loaded up Maggie the Cave and went on a little road trip thirty minutes away to pick it up.
We went to TSC, bought seeds, came home, cleaned it, hooked it up, I planted my pods, and now we wait. So far, so good. I doubt it had been used much, the LED lights are in good condition, the pump works, so hopefully we'll have germination happening in a few days. The picture shows one pod without a sticker, but I corrected that, they all have stickers now. I thought about just planting lettuce, but I decided to try basil, parsley and dill in the back row. This is just a test run, so I'm just sitting here, waiting for something to sprout, hopefully in five days or so
