FINALLY planted these.
The left back is King Arthur. sweet; Bell; 3.5 to 4.5 inches long by 3.5 to 4 inches wide; thick flesh; matures from green to red; pendant pods; green leaves; 18 to 24 inches tall; Mid Season (70-80 days); C.annuum; aka "Fat'N Sassy Hyb'
The front right is Hungarian Sweet. Banana/Long Wax; 4 to 6 inches long by 1.25 to 1.5 inches wide; medium thick flesh; matures from greenish yellow to orange to red; pendant pods; green leaves; 18 to 24 inches tall; Early Season (60-70 days); Uses: Pickling, Prolific, Canning/Processing; C.annuum; |

lynnee, I have grown both of these in the past and both very good. Mark loves them and wanted me to grow again.

So jealous of your peppers, Shawn. I have some Italian Pepperoncini coming up. My yum yums and sweet heat did nothing but my seeds were old. Ordered hot Hungarian wax and tangerine dream from Burpee so hopefully they do better. For some reason I have had trouble finding sweet banana pepper seeds this year. Both Home Depot and Walmart didn’t have them in their seed section and Burpee didn’t have them in stock when I ordered either.

swimmom500, banana peppers were all out of stock, at all the seed companies, last year. This year I ordered mine early. If you really want to grow banana peppers now, send me a PM with your postal address, and I'll send you some of my extra seeds.

I was just going to offer too. I was able to find them. I order my seeds on 1/1 from my vendor as that is the day they start seeling their new seeds every year.
