Do you guys use any helper apps? Curious if there are any good ones out there, not looking for a subscription one, but I don't mind paying a 1 time fee to unlock an app thats good.

A couple of years ago, I bought a fairly expensive light meter which just measured lumens independent of light source. I have since found an inexpensive Apple app called PHOTONE. It measures PPFD, DLI, LUX, and color temperature (kelvin). Works really well. You have to make a "diffuser" for your camera which is just a strip of white paper wrapped around your phone.
Another product I like are the temperature sensors from Govee.
They are nice little temp/humidity sensors that record the changes and are accessible from their app. You can also set alarms for temp too high or too low, etc.

Those temperature/humidity sensors look lime they'd be helpful, at a very good price. I don't know of any apps to suggest. I have a weather station thingie that shows temperature and humidity for four locations (indoor and outdoor). I just purchased one of Amazon's new Indoor Air Quality monitors, which works with an Alexa Echo device and is easy to set up.
