I got the new Bounty Elite set up. Well, except for the WiFi. The app kept saying the bar code was invalid and when I went to enter the code manually it left the Bounty screen when I had two digits left. Still working on that. I was not able to set the time as when I pressed the arrows to set the time it began setting the light dimmer instead. I assume I can set the time VIA WiFi if I get it working. Due to space, one Bounty Basic is out-of-service for now.
I planted two pods with Brussels Sprouts (Catskill). Starting with the Age Old Fish and Seaweed fertilizer (3-3-2)

tompepper7, when connecting your AG to your home network, it's normal for the "scan bar code" to work erratically or not at all, but the "enter code manually" feature ought to work. Getting the dimmer screen instead of "set clock" has never happened to me. If you unplug/replug the garden, you can tell it that your power went out, and that should bring up the "set clock" screen. Yes, you can set the time from the app, if you can get your garden connected. The easiest way is to tell the app to sync to your mobile device time. I fear that you have received a defective AG. You should contact Aerogarden and request a replacement if the problems persist!

You should contact Aerogarden and request a replacement if the problems persist! Watching a couple YouTube videos about the WiFi setup I saw the correct way to set the time. By using the touch screen correctly I was able to scroll the numbers to the correct time.
For the WiFi I can see the Bounty Elite is connected to my WiFi but manually entering the barcode letters/numbers into the the app and pressing next just sits there after that. Seems like an issue with the app to me. Will probably end up contacting support.

tompepper7, did you try entering the numbers manually on the device touchscreen? That always works for me. You have to write down the number that displays under the barcode, and (if memory serves) hit the barcode screen to get to the enter manually option.

Apparently what looked like the letter "O" in the middle of a bunch of letters was the number "0". I had also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and logged into my Aerogarden account with my PC.
So the app works with my Bounty Elite now.

So the app works with my Bounty Elite now. Yay! I've found that the app works even when the buttons on the device are glitchy. Also, the app lets you keep logs with comments, and do other things like syncing the time. I use the app most often to check the days planted when I'm posting here about a particular project.

No growth seen in the pods yet. Added the Fish and Seaweed fertilizer after a water flush. Changed the pump settings VIA the app for the water flush.

Unfortunately I got busy with other stuff and did not keep up on the water/fertilizer changes for a number of weeks. So I will need to restart this.
