🍆🍆🍆 yes, they were delicious. They are about 2”x1”. I cut them in half, put some olive oil on them and threw them in the air fryer. That sounds good! I love tossing eggplant and other veggies in the air fryer!

My three gardens are coming along. Day 8 for the Harvest Slim Elite with AG Salad kit ... still no action in the Black-seeded Simpson or Parris Island Romaine. No mold or anything untoward either, I suppose there's still some hope, but it's dwindling... I did reposition the pods so that if those two are failures, the others have better spacing. Day 7 for the Classic 7-pod with Tatsoi, that's all doing nicely. Day 5 for the 6 Elite+ with Tatsoi. I added a fan in the kitchen to blow across the lettuces and Tatsoi on low, and probably should get one for my office Tatsoi garden. So far, the cats have left the two kitchen gardens be, but I don't know that will continues as they grow and become more "interesting".

TODAY... I rearranged the pepper/tomato room for winter.
I've got 6 of the garment racks that serve as light support for the AG bounties. 4 are peppers, 2 are tomatoes at the moment.
This has been lovingly dubbed a "scarfguy farm" by my fellow AGA members.
Since I started using this setup in the spring, I had the "farms" running around the outer walls in an L shape. Unfortunately, that covered a primary vent of our steam furnace in our wonderful 90 year old home. If I don't move them, I will be roasting some peppers on the plant come winter.
SO... I turned a few 90 degrees and ran them out into the center of the room.
The furnace vents are imbedded in the wall and one can be seen on the far right in the second picture.

The garment racks are a cool idea! What a lovely growing room and your plants look so nice!

Love your garden room, scarfguy! Does anyone play for your plants? I wish I had room for one or two of your "Farms", because you grow melons and full-size eggplants, and other really tall plants in them.

So far, the cats have left the two kitchen gardens be, but I don't know that will continues as they grow and become more "interesting". Good luck with that! If they start bothering the AGs, you may be able to divert their attention by growing some lawn grass or catnip especially for them. Love your photos!

Do you mean the piano? Yes, I stop and play a couple of tunes every day.
I don't use the "farms" for melons. They are best for peppers and tomatoes. The farms are only a little bit larger than an AG farm. I can comfortably grow about 40 inches tall. I have a 6 foot tall metal garment rack that I use for the melons.

Yes, I knew that--now that you remind me! I want one of your metal racks, too. Alas, no space, and no suitable unobstructed windows. Yes, I was eyeing the piano. No wonder your plants do so well!

Today I have a tiny little FairyTale eggplant peeking under the label!
I decided to harvest the cukes and here's the bounty, minus the 2 I ate for lunch. According to the Farm, these were at Day 43 and the largest is just over 6".
And then I turned them into a quart of dill refrigerator pickles...

Really nice looking cucumbers! Large, consistent size, and great green color.
YUP, that's what I had to do when I grew cucumbers. You get so many all at the same time you have to make pickles. I also gave a bunch away to relatives.

Today I'm wondering about my Classic 7. The low water light was blinking ... I added water, right up to the max level line, and it's STILL on! And honestly, the water wasn't all that low to start with! Maybe half an inch lower than max fill.
Further, this is day 9 for that garden, and the add nutrients light is ALSO blinking! I thought the interval is 2 weeks?
Yet, as I used 1 tsp/gallon of the GH Flora series starting the garden, it seems early to add more. I think I'll wait, since it's only 5 days more. Or will that stunt my plants?
But the low water light staying on is going to be aggravating! I don't see a way to reset that, I assumed that filling would cause it to do so on its own, but not as yet. It's hard to see the water level in there, without using a mini flashlight.
Otherwise, the little Tatsoi look well. As does the lettuce garden.

pfunnyjoy --I'm not familiar with that model, but the ones I have all have a "float" in the bowl that is the water level indicator. If it gets a bunch of roots or crud in it, it doesn't register correctly. I'd suggest looking for the water level indicator thing in the bowl of your AG, take it out and see if it needs cleaning or if the float is stuck for some reason.
ETA--I see the manual for the Classic 7 is on the AG website... **Removed broken link**
The manual indicates that the add water light will blink concurrently with the add nutrients light, reminding you to top off the water when nutes are added. Maybe if you press the light to reset the nutes it will reset the water light, too.

I will go download that manual! So thanks! Yeah, I probably still have a printed manual somewhere, but finding it is another story. I didn't want to reset the nutrient reminder until I actually added nutrients. At age 66, I kind of want that reminder to stay on track with nutes. But yeah, I guess when that time comes in a few days, I'll see if I can check the water level indicator thingie. It could just be stuck.

Link didn't work, but don't worry, I found them. Didn't realize they'd have the manuals up for the really old gardens, but good they do!
Only thing is there's not much about how to remove/check the float thingie in either the full manual or quick start guide. I'll see if someone has a vid on YouTube. Or just do my best to figure it out during my upcoming rinse/refill/nutrient add.
I'll most definitely be paying more attention to that thingie as I set up future old gardens!

Well, here's the story. My husband bought me a Harvest for Christmas 2021. I didn't really know what it was, so I DIDN'T OPEN IT. It sat in the box in my laundry room until sometime in April 2023 when I decided to clean up the space and decided to see what this thing actually was. OH MY GOSH. I planted the herb pods that day and when I saw the little seedlings a few days later I of course told my husband WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME TO OPEN THIS BEFORE??? I think I've said that to him about a thousand times since then!
So, by the time I was using the dill and basil and the Thai basil was going crazy (I never cooked with it before this, and we love it with stir fry and fried rice) and I realized I could have fresh parsley all the time (the store parsley has NO taste)--I saw the Bounty Basic on sale and decided I needed 2 of them. That would let me grown everything I wanted to grow (what I said to myself THEN). Bounties came in June 7. I moved the herbs to one of them and planted lettuce and kale in the other one. I bought Mighty Mini seed pods to plant a couple in the Harvest.
And then I thought: You can't just plant TWO Mighty Minis. You have 3THREE seed pods! Wouldn't you know it, the Harvest XL was on sale in July! In comes garden number 4! I planted more basil, kale and lettuce, and got the third Mighty Mini pod started.
When I saw the Mighty Minis really were going to be small and really would do well in a Harvest--well--it would look so much cuter if they were all in a Harvest. So at the beginning of September I went on Ebay and found my second Harvest, great price, brand new--garden number 5! It's home for the third Mighty Mini and for getting seed pods started.
Then I completely gave in to the addiction, no will power, at all. (How can you NOT buy an AG at the prices you can find on Ebay???) I ordered my third Harvest on Sep. 21 (garden number 6) and my second Harvest XL on Sep. 26 (garden number 7). And when I realized how useful it would be to have herbs right in my kitchen, I ordered a Harvest 360 on Oct. 4--garden number 8! It's all planted and looks great on my counter.
When I opened that old Christmas present back in April, I had no idea how much fun and ADDICTIVE Aerogardening would be! I am PRETTY SURE I am NOT going to get ANY MORE gardens, at least not until next year! Even though I keep opening Ebay just to check... (-:

Work has been getting the best of me lately, so not too much time spent on the AG's. I really need to test the water in my 3 Bounty's; the cucumbers look like they could use some love. The tomatoes look great but man oh man when are they going to start to ripen? lol, we're on day 73 days with those. And my poor Bounty with the banana peppers....there's got to be about 50 peppers on the plants; I need to pick some so it doesn't stop producing. Hopefully I'll get to picking and water testing tonight. Outside of that, just admiring my Petunia which adores it's home in a Kratky jar (and it drinks an entire jar of water about every 3 days). Speaking of Kratky jars, this basil is the strangest thing - it has huge, firm "crinkly" leaves? I think it is Neapolitan basil. And my poor peppers begging to be picked All the other gardens are doing well. Just got word that my garlic is arriving tomorrow, so I guess some of my weekend will be spent preparing a raised bed (outside) and planting that. Happy gardening, all!

My husband bought me my first Bounty many years ago, so every single subsequent one is blamed on him for starting the addiction. I'm currently at 3 Bounty's, 6 Harvests, one Sprout, and a Farm 24XL. The only things preventing me from adding more (some really awesome recent sales!) are -- (1) horrible electric rates here in NH, and (2) I've literally run out of places to plug things in. lol
