Today's project is Joi Choi Hybrid. This is a heavier large pac choi. It can get to 20" though I hope not. I'm planting 6 of these on a Farm Plus. This basin's white grow deck is stained. I may need bleach. I'm not sure where the yellowing came from. This last grew the Jamaican Yellow Mushroom Peppers.

Well, it's in. But the yellowing on the deck is permanent. I bleached the heck out of it. Didn't affect it at all. Either some sort of chemical got on it or perhaps heat. Also, one corner hole doesn't get enough water flowing through it. If the stain was due to heat, perhaps it is warped.
Now I want to sleep, and the park across the street is having fireworks. Oh well, it'll be done in a half hour.
Happy Independance Day, folks.

Added 20 ml Ionic Grow nutrients. Hey, mike, I see you are using both AG nutes sometimes and Ionic Grow at others.
Why do you use one over the other?

For Herbs, I prefer AG. Flavor is the reason. Although, that may be in my head. Not much difference.
For greens, I prefer Ionic Grow, just the Grow. I was out of it but just got another bottle. For the Lettuce, Pac Choi and Spinach from this point on. I use the Grow nutes only to prevent the greens from bolting too early. Bloom nutrients might hasten the flowering. I like the Ionic brand because it is pH buffered like the AG nutes. You don't need to check pH. Last I knew, General Hydroponics nutrients are not pH buffered.

Yes, I recently had to replace my Brother P-Touch when it died. I replaced it with the P-Touch Cube Plus. You can send your label from your phone.

FYI FROM GOOGLE:
Light Stress Too much or too little light can cause plant leaves to turn red or purple. If the plant is getting too much light, it can cause photobleaching, which damages the chlorophyll in the leaves. If the plant is not getting enough light, it can cause anthocyanin production, which leads to red or purple leaves.
Might be normal also as there are a variety of "choi"s that have purple leaves.

I raised the hoods on all the gardens. Greens don't need much light.
