I got a new Sprout and first plugged it in in the afternoon to get the pump going for my lettuces. I then tried for 3 consecutive days to unplug, plug in again the Sprout to try to reset the light-on time to 7am. Each time I plugged it in, the light didn’t automatically turn on and I had to manually turn it on. Maybe because of this, the Sprout still thinks its default light-on time is in the afternoon so it would turn itself off in an hour or two after I attempted to reset at 7am and also doesn’t turn itself off at 10pm. How do I do a real hard reset so that the light-on time is at 7am?

agnoob , It's annoying, but you have to get up at the time when you want the Sprout lights to turn on. The Bounties and Farms let you reset the lights from the touchscreen. Here are the instructions from the 2020 Sprout manual: Set Lights 'ON' Time When vou plug in vour AeroGarden for the first time the Grow Light will come ON, and will continue to come ON at this time every day. It will turn Off automatically 15 hours later. If you would like to change the time of day when the Light comes ON, follow these steps: Gently Touch and hold your finger over the 'Light On/Off' button for about 5 seconds and release when the small light (Add Plant Food alert) blinks once. Your Grow Light will now come ON at this time each day and will stay ON for 15 hours. 2020 Sprout Manual link

Thanks, lynnee! I guess I just wasn’t pressing the light button for long enough. But isn’t that also how the plant food alert is reset though? Will I mess up the feeding schedule then?

agnoob, the single touch switch on the sprout does everything.
push it and let it go and it turns the light on and off.
push it and hold it for 2 seconds and it resets the feed cycle.
push it and hold it for 5 seconds and it sets the on time for the light. I think the led on the touch switch blinks once when you set it.
push it and hold it for 10 seconds and it resets everything I think the led on the touch switch blinks 3 times when you reset it.
There is no adjustment for the pump on a sprout. It will come on when the light comes on.
