Had to work late tonight, but once I got home it was time to tend the garden.
In the dehydrator now: Tier 1: Peppermint and Dill Tier 2: Basil Tier 3: Sage and Chives Tier 4: Catnip and the first few chamomile blooms Tier 5: AG Mint

Nice, what kind of dehydrator do you have?

Cheesecloth is a great idea, I never thought of that. Perfect solution to the crumbling herbs.

Jeez, I need to tend to my Excalibur. I bumped the table it is on and it crashed to the ground. It doesn't look like there is damage, but I need to examine it further. That's what happens when it is too close to the coffee pot.

Oh no, Mike! I remember how excited you were to get that! Hopefully nothing internal was knocked loose. Shouldn’t have with that unit.

I think it is OK. The power turns on with the switch. There is a funky electrical heat smell when it turns on, but that is probably because it hasn't been used in a while. I need to get it ready because I want to set up the tote growing herbs for this year. I have very few of the dried herbs left from last years garden.

Be careful if you smell an plastic electrical smell after using a dropped electronic. A resistor\transistor may have come loose and the machine may now be trying to pull too much power. That's a recipe for fire.
This recently happened with our toaster.

I never leave home when I have any type of heating device on. I won't even leave my crock pot on. I'm a bit paranoid there.

All those AG's are pulling more electric power through the walls than a crock pot!! LOL

Aah, but no real heat is involved.
