Today I accidentally briefly unplugged my harvest elite during its growth cycle. The day counter and fertilizer counter kept its settings, but the clock reset. Strange. You would think everything would reset. The time it was unplugged was very brief, so perhaps the counters stayed in memory long enough. In any case, I know you can reset the day counter according to the instructions but it is not clear if the fertilizer countdown counter also can be reset. I don’t want to unplug it long enough to find out, so just asking here if anyone has experience with this. I’m realizing as I am writing this that the fertilizer countdown timer is probably just calculated off the day calendar since it is a set interval of every 14 days, so one only need set the day calendar. Probably answered my own question!

I've lost power for quite awhile at times and I've only ever had to reset the clock.

Jeff, after a power outage, AGs hold the day and fertilizer settings until you select "start a new garden". You do have to reset the clock after every power outage. Bounties let you adjust the settings for "days planted" and "add nutrients"--either or both. I'm not sure whether Harvests allow you to separately reset the fertilizer counter. Try scrolling through the menu options. Here's a link to the AG Product Manuals, where you can find the manual for your Harvest.

Thanks Lynnee I had read the manual on my Harvest Elite model but it does not provide any info on what settings are affected if power is lost, that's why I asked here. Good to know the settings are held until I "start a new garden". Setting the clock is no problem. This is great info, thank you. |
