Y'all will have to forgive me that these photos are a few days old at this point. I was trying to upload them and kept running into errors. Day 23 (I think, I'm not sure if I recorded that correctly, but oh well!) Before harvesting:The harvest:After the harvest:So far, having all 7 pods growing Tatsoi is working out nicely! I plan to harvest again today, I want to toss the greens in with some scrambled eggs in a bit. I suppose the time could come when the Tatsoi is just too crowded, but so far, harvesting frequently is working. If it continues to work, I might just do the Classic 7 in Tatsoi every time, or until I get tired of it, LOL!

These were the harvest "eats" before disaster struck.

Day 27: The first sign of disaster, drooping leaves. I did a rinse and refill. The garden was due for nutrients and got that as well, but so far, it has NOT improved and has worsened. Day 28:It's looking like the youngest leaves are starting to be affected, and I don't have a lot of hope for this garden, but will give it another couple days, see if anything changes for the better. It was so nice looking and being productive, then overnight, BOOM! I have no idea why this one went south, while the other one appears to be thriving. And whatever is bothering it is also bothering the Deer Tongue lettuce in my Harvest Slim Elite.

Pulled the plug. Will sanitize carefully, maybe before doing that, will work a bit more on the old internal crusties with vinegar.
I will probably replant with Tatsoi, but might let it sit for a few days after sanitizing before doing so. I think this next time, I'll do 3 plants, rather than all 7 pods. The deck configuration should work well for that.
Meanwhile, the action in the Bounty should keep me happy, though I will miss the light from the two kitchen gardens while they are inactive! A lot! Hubby too. We both like them.
Failures are part of the process, I just wish it wasn't two gardens at once.

pfunnyjoy, Did you by any chance turn on @fsullomyour heat a day or so before the Tatsoi and Deer Tongue began to decline? Make sure that your gardens aren't in a draft from a cold window or a hot furnace vent. Drafts kill my tomatoes and peppers from time to time. At one time I couldn't figure out why my Poblano peppers wouldn't set fruit. Turned out that a ceiling furnace vent across the small room was changing air circulation patterns in the room. Every time that the furnace came on, the peppers ended up in a strong draft. It wasn't enough to dry out the leaves, but it caused the blooms to drop. It could also be a virus, as scarfguy suggested. If the roots were healthy, then the culprit is most likely the garden placement (affecting water temperature and general room air circulation).

If the roots were healthy, then the culprit is most likely the garden placement (affecting water temperature and general room air circulation). No, been running the heat for a couple weeks now. The floor vents are across the living room, no where near the gardens. The floor vent in the kitchen is clear at the other end, and partly under a little cart. So absolutely nothing is blowing on them other than the little clamp fan. And that's been there nearly a month already, as I put it in place not long after everything sprouted. The office garden also has a clamp fan, so I don't think it's that. The air purifier sits underneath that counter, but again, it runs constantly and no issues up until now. The air from that is not heated, just room temp. And the counter blocks direct flow to the gardens.
