So, I started the downstairs Tatsoi garden with GH MaxiGro. And it is growing nicely, but looks different than upstairs Tatsoi grown with GH Flora series. What concerns me is the yellow rim around each leaf with the MaxiGro. Are my plants deficient in something? I've learned that my water is actually NOT hard, and has an EC of zero. However, my impression was that MaxiGro contains both calcium and magnesium so I've not added anything to the MaxiGro. GH Flora series: GH MaxiGro: |

I find a feeding chart on their website that shows using MaxiGro with CALiMAGic.

Thanks, found it! I'll give it a go with CALiMAGic, see if things improve. I'd love to see if I can make MaxiGro work. The AG experiments guy seems to do so well with it.

Confusion on what nutrients belong on a particular schedule as well as what specific plants the fertilizer is suggested for are the reasons I tried the Greenway Lettuce fertilizerIt lists the type of plants the fertilizer would be used for and that cal/mg should be added in addition.

That's one I hadn't heard of before. Looks highly interesting! Especially since I love growing greens! Thanks! I won't go off and buy immediately, but I might try it if I can't get some success with the MaxiGro. |
