This is a light green choi. It is smaller than Joi Choi, 10" to 12". As long as you don't take more than 1/3 of the plant, it grows back quickly.
I planted 8 pods on a Farm Plus.

mike, do you still use your homemade tote-based at all? I think you were using them to grow Pac Choi for harvests a few weeks apart. Those were pretty cool.

Yes, I have two of them. I can operate both from one GH pump. They are not in use right now, but those will replace my Farms, eventually. I also have totes for two more. I still have to cut the tops to accommodate the baskets. I'm going to use 80/20 extrusions to make a frame for the light. Those frames will also work very well for supporting larger plants and for vining. That material is expensive, but it will be better than the Farms. I will be using Alexa to control all lights and the pump.

It's funny, most of the Pac Choi I've grown have rounded smooth edge leaves. This variety has a jagged edge to it. It's more subtle on most of the leaves, but it is still jagged. The rear right pod have quite a pronounced jagged edge on the leaves. Now I have to review the pic of other pac choi varieties I've grown.

Thanks Lynnee.
I just harvested a handful each of spinach and pac choi for my dinner protein green smoothie. I had the greens, pea protein powder, superfood powder, filtered water, orange juice, half-n-half, strawberry flavor, and SF blueberry syrup. It was getting later this evening and didn't feel like a solid food meal. It was pretty good.
