2023-12-26: Day 0Seeds: Uprising Seeds “Mersin” ParsleyPlanted: 3:04 PM Aerogarden: 2023 Harvest Elite Slim Location: North 40, kitchen counter Water: tap, filtered, Big Berkey Grow Medium: 2009 AG Grow Anything sponges Preferred PH: 5.8–6.5 Preferred EC: 0.8–1.8 Nutrients: GH CALiMAGic 2.0ml per gallon GH Flora Micro 2.5ml per gallon GH Flora Gro 2.5ml per gallon GH Flora Bloom 2.5ml per gallon 3% hydrogen peroxide: 5.0ml Nutrient mix PH: 6.0 Nutrient mix EC: 0.8 Seeds were already germinated by a pre-soak and then paper towel in Ziploc baggie. Happy to get this one going!

Parsley are one of those seeds that always give me a hard time. Not sure why I never thought of pre-soaking and germinating on a paper towel.
Did you use any hydrogen peroxide in the water, or just plain water?

Parsley are one of those seeds that always give me a hard time. Not sure why I never thought of pre-soaking and germinating on a paper towel. Did you use any hydrogen peroxide in the water, or just plain water? For the germination, I used pH adjusted filtered water from my Aerogarden watering jug. I don't trust my pH 8.5 tap water! Pre-soaking overnight and the paper towel speed things along for parsley. Otherwise, you might wait 2-3 weeks before anything happens. I'm not that patient! (Been there, done that with an AG herb kit...) |

2024-01-09: Day 14
The parsley looks nutrient burnt. I haven’t got whatever seedlings want dialed in yet. I should have attempted rescue sooner, but I’m having a nerve-pain flareup and couldn’t get to it. Today was the scheduled rinse and refill.
Since the cilantro started with 0.50ml cal/mag and a ¼ teaspoon of MaxiGro and was OK until I increased nutrients, I started there. It may be too late to save the parsley.
Nutrient mix PH: 6.0
Nutrient mix EC: 0.5

Although two plants were still alive, they weren't growing well AND new growth was getting dry brown leaf tips, just like the cilantro.
So I've terminated it, sanitized the garden, and just now planted it with lettuce to see if that will grow in the kitchen.
