I got an email this morning advertising a LE PINK Harvest Slim for $99. SO CUTE. I'm going to have to resist, but it's so tempting. Anyone buying?

I checked my email after seeing this post to see what you were referring to. That looks identical to the one I bought from them last year for Valentines Day. I would swear the price was $49.99 last year because I had to purchase something else with it in order to get free shipping. I have 2 other Harvest Slims but they are both the Elite model. I prefer them to the basic Harvest slim model but I will say the pink is super cute! |

If it hits 50 bucks, I'll lift my Aerogarden boycott temporarily and buy two just to get the free shipping, even though I have no idea where I would put them.
I don't care what color it is. There's a picture of one on Amazon, and it's more of a desert pink than a Barbie pink.
Amazon has the pink ones for 139.99, but why one would buy that when one can get a black one for 110.99 is beyond me.

Currently the Harvest Slim in black is $67 on the AG website using the sale code.

The one from Amazon is sold by a third-party seller, but it is shipped by Amazon. We can get free Prime next day delivery, rather than having it sit in a processing queue in Pig Stump, Missouri, for 4 days until Aerogarden's crack, third-party outsourced fulfillment center gets around to putting it in the back of the pickup and hauling it to UPS.

Sorry you have had poor experience with Aerogarden's website. I have bought a lot of stuff from them and have not had a problem.
At any rate, AG has the pink Harvest Slim for anyone who's interested.

I got one last year for $49.99 in pink.
It was very susceptible to resetting the light on time from AC power interruptions and I finally asked for a replacement. I've always wondered if they were clearing out bad inventory with a known problem at a fire sale price. But it was replaced promptly and all my interactions with AG customer sevice have been good.
Eventually I'll get around to modifying the power supply with a super-cap to see if that fixes the problem.

I have this one, and it's ADORABLE. I'm one of those suckers who'll buy the new color anytime AG puts one out. I'm surprised they don't do it more often to boost sales. I still want the discontinued red Bounty, I was too late to the hobby to get one for myself. The light green harvest is also adorable!!!
