I'm actually considering buying a 2.0; my curiosity is getting the better of me (plus I have Amazon rewards $$ to waste.) I was looking at the Aerogarden "reviews" on the AG website and see that almost every single one is a "review of free product" and a glowing report from some person who is obviously new to Aerogardens. 
A valuable review would properly compare the new version to the old one, but apparently no one has bothered to do that.
I'm still kicking it around, but I'll post my update if I get one. In the meantime, has anyone here bought the 2.0??

Uh-oh...
Well, that was the nail in the 2.0 coffin. I will save that $90. In fact, the AG website has the stainless Harvest Elite on sale for the exact same price today. Of course I don't "need" another Harvest Elite but it is a much better value for the money.

Sounds like the 2.0 is a loser as we all thought. They also made a very vocal angry customer in that video.
I bought an extra bounty some time ago. I think I'm gonna buy a couple more "spares" just in case this company goes belly up.
