I purchased and received my Aerogardens last June, so I didn't have the opportunity to use them to start seeds. I did plant the AG golden and red heirloom tomatoes and they grew OK, but I wasn't that impressed with the taste. I tried out a Burpee Maglia Rosa and it did quite well despite my inability to prune very well. They are delicious - I highly recommend them. So, for this season, I'm going wild. I love experimenting with different types of tomatoes. Starts for outdoors:Burpee
- Cherry Roma
- Maglia Rosa
- Ensalada Hybrid
- Mighty Sweet Hybrid
- Bush Steak Hybrid
Reimer
- Corbarino
- d'Inverno
- Better Bush
Growing inside:- Burpee Veranda Red Hybrid
- Peppers - Poblano & Banana
- Herbs/lettuce - Basil, Chives, Arugala, Romaine, Red Sails, Baby Greens
What's your plans?

For indoors only, I'm about to start "Vivacious" and "Homeslice" in an effort to get a steadily producing slicing tomato. My Veranda Reds continue to produce. My remaining "Paul Robeson" tomato is flowering, and hopefully will set fruit. Soon I'll start some fancy Wave petunias for transplanting to pots to display outdoors!

For indoors only (I don't do outdoors), I've started two different yellow tomatoes.
The yellow taxi I have grown before and it was a great tomato the first time around.
The Summertime Gold I believe may be a rather large plant. I don't know.
This is another variety from the "dwarf" tomato project in Australia.
Both tomato plants are in separate bounties. Two plants in each. Both are currently about 6 inches tall.
Will post updates as appropriate.

For the benefit of those in the U.S., where we decided collectively back in the 70s that the metric system was just too darned complex, that's just a tad short of 140 m.p.h. Wow.

So how about a picture of the vehicle that has spurred our interest? It is on a crashed ipod but I think I have it on a hard drive somewhere I will see. It was a 1998 Black BMW 750I 12 cylinder, dual turbo ,with the battery in the truck for lack of room under the hood. The machina had an affinity for all the petrol stations along the way 344x258 Not my pic a stock photo. It did look like this

Thanks for the pic...
Now that I see it, at 225 Km/H, it was just a little bit above an idle.
