wow mike.... 1 thing i can't help notice in the photos of all our gal projects..the shape of the pepper is far different from the ad photo. I noticed that too! I am getting the feeling that these F1 pepper seeds came from past crops and are heading back to the original pepper before it was crossed with something else.. I hate seeds that are not Heirloom originals.

I had to harvest the first pepper. After splitting this sucker open, it revealed a good amount of seeds. With the seeds removed, you can see nice thick walls that are perfect for stuffing. So, I stuffed these with plain cream cheese and added a chunk of walnut and two dried cranberries. The result, a delicious hors d'oeuvre. If the pepper was too sweet, it would be too much. This was slightly sweeter than a bell pepper. It smelled a bit sweeter than a bell pepper. Definitely worth the project.

These truly are a tasty pepper. I diced one up into a spinach salad, last night. There are more uses for sweet peppers. But you use them up far too quickly.

Not much left here. Another couple of days and I will stuff these with cream cheese and bacon.

I see you have been housekeeping as they ripen. Too late for me to do that. Mine are all cluttered by leaves.

Yeah, only one bunch of leaves left overhead. This weekend they will come down. A nice project.

I think that is a hydro thing. I think growing them outdoors would yield peppers more like the picture.
