After uploading the photo choose the bulletin board link and paste it into your post. Assuming you mean file host.

The administrator doesn't want to store images on the AGA board as it takes too much space.
Rather you should save your pics on an external service and link to them.
I use imgur.
For imgur, I upload an image, use the "direct link" copy option on imgur, and then go the AGA and paste the link into the "frame" icon (7th icon from right on second line of functions)

Photos posted on free services tend to "expire" after a time. Paid or partly paid services like Flicker and Photobucket hold the images as long as you pay the fees or don't exceed your free quotas. I use Photobucket, but don't recommend it because it's expensive and seems to get more so over time. If I were starting over, I'd use Flicker.

I use Flickr. It is free up to several hundred photo's and pretty easy to use. You can upload 1-many at one time. To place here you click on the share icon on Flickr , copy the link and, paste it in the thread you created or are replying to here. You can put it below or above your text. I keep 2 browser tabs open on my computer and go back and forth between Flickr and here. Try several photo hosting sites and see which works best for you. I do like the free ones. There is a thread here under how to that can give you some pointers also. aerogardenaddicts.com/post/27/thread
