Started in Aerogarden and now in a kratky container. I think it was two months ago I started it but I’ve forgotten the date. This was my first pepper so it was more of a try it out thing. I also wanted to be as hands off as possible so I only pruned leaves that were too low or blocking peppers. Didn’t nip any buds. I think it’s had a bit of edema but it’s been growing fine otherwise so I’m not going to fiddle too much with nutrients ppm and keep it steady. It’s also in a one gallon’ish container so we’ll see how long it lasts there. Do you think they’ll be hot or not? I’m trying one tonight on some pizza.

Great looking, healthy pepper plant!
My guess is that they will be spicy.

I've grown pot-a-penos!! I love how compact they stay. The peppers themselves aren't terribly spicy, but I thought they had a good flavor with a little touch of heat. They taste better fully ripened to red vs picking still green.

I ended up using two of the ripest peppers. The seeds had serious kick but the rest of the pepper showed they definitely need longer to ripen. They tasted more like a bell pepper.

That pizza looks DELISH!! Have you ever done a pineapple and green chili pizza? When I first moved to New Mexico a coworker introduced me to it and I fell in love, seeing jalapeno and pineapple gave me a sudden craving!!

Pineapple and green chile sounds good. We also use hot honey and butter on the crust so the whole thing was sweet heat sorta. Will be better once those jalapeños get riper.
