I'm currently growing a Early Jalapeno Pepper plant that is said to have a scoville rating of 3500 to 4500.
These peppers seem to grow well in my AeroGarden and are a bit smallish, but wow these peppers are hotter than any Jalapeno or Serrano that I find in the stores locally.
Can anyone suggest something with a little less heat?

Hopefully, Mike, The Pepper King, will see this and respond. He's the expert.

Yup, fingers crossed.
I gave some to a few folks from Mexico and they said yikes those are hot!

How are you using the peppers? Are you removing the seeds and veins?

Gotta post to sing the praises of this really nice bell pepper.
It's called Aloha. When ripe, it has streaks of red, yellow, and green. Very beautiful pepper.
Seeds are hard to find. There is a listing on Amazon but it doesn't have a very good rating. I bought mine here:
Unlike many of the bell peppers I've tried, this plant grows with enough space between the nodes to allow the peppers to form without deforming. The peppers have really stocky strong stems.
These two plants in a bounty are 18" tall and are sporting a total of 12 peppers so far.

O My the addiction is real. I literally have thousands of seeds and now I have to have the Aloha Bell Pepper seed. Each color of Bell Peppers has a slightly different flavor so now I have to have it. Thanks to scarfguy for pointing this out. Concerning a milder Pepper, would just a regular Jalapeno work ¿ I will also defer to the expert Pepper people here as I mostly grow the sweet type of Peppers with probably no scoville rating.

I've been growing the King Arthur Hybrid Pepper and we've been pretty happy with them but I may give the Aloha a try.

Darn that scarfguy and his gorgeous photos! Now I've got to order Aloha seeds, too.

golddustpeak, you might want to try Sweet Heat peppers . They've been recommended here many times, and they're easy to grow. I don't know for sure about the heat, because mine matured while I was hospitalized for meningitis (Feb 2023), so the garden was terminated before I could use them.
