I have this brand at the moment www.botanicare.com/products/cal-mag-2-0-0/ was wondering if anyone has experience using this with AG? Reason is my bell peppers seem to be getting slight wrinkles while still on the vine, even through they are not fully ripe. I read this might be a calcium deficiency.

I use Cal-Mag for my large slicer Tomatoes. It seems to help those but I will defer to the Pepper experts here for knowledge with Peppers. I use the recommended amount per manufacture directions. I add it 1 week after my normal nutrients so, every week they get something.

I use the General Hydroponics cal-mag product as most people here use:
I try to add it to all of my crops including my peppers once a week at a rate of 1 tsp per gallon.
====
Lately, I'm trying something different. I found these supplements from RAW on Amazon. For calcium, I use this:
For magnesium, I use epsom salts.
These are both dry crystals. I tried to add them to a cup of water to dissolve them but they take a long time to dissolve.
SO... I'm currently adding them directly to the bowl at a rate of 1/8 teaspoon per gallon. My hope is that they will dissolve slowly and provide kind of a time-release of both calcium and magnesium.
We'll see how it goes.

So how many ML would you say every other week? Was going to just add it with the normal feeding time so the alarm keeps me on a schedule. I have a bounty elite if that helps determine a measurement. Though with 2 pepper plants in there its got a ton of roots consuming space in the bowl as well.

I would think you would not want to add more than 5-7 ml at a time even if you only add once every two weeks. If you use too much at one time, you run the risk of fertilizer burn. Better to use too little than too much.

bluetech, I add CalMag to everything (except lettuce and herbs) per the label instructions, which gives a per gallon amount. A Bounty holds a little more than a gallon of water, so that's close enough. I do R&Rs every 2 weeks, and add CalMag then, starting at the third R&R.

I've seen a couple of different phrases that are supposedly the source of the abbreviation "R&R".
Basically, it means to pour out all of the water from the AG bowl and fill it with fresh water. This controls the buildup of exhausted fertilizer salts which can be detrimental to the plant as it ages.
I think AG recommends changing the water once a month or every other 2 week feeding.

It means what scarfguy said, and I think of it as "rinse and refill". It's also a play on "rest and recreation", which I think first came up in the Vietnam war.

I always throught it meant rest and relaxation Hah! Merriam-Webster says, "rest and recreation; rest and recuperation; rest and relaxation". But for us, it means "change the water and add nutrients"!
