This was fun. This is one of those oyster mushroom kits you can find on Amazon:
Worked pretty good. Gonna harvest today and put them on my pizza.
At $20 a pop for a handful of mushrooms, they aren't very cost effective, however.

If anyone is interested, I have seen these on clearance at Walmart. They were in the garden center in the indoor portion.

It took 6 days for them to "germinate" (or whatever mushrooms do). Once they started growing, it was only 3 days til harvest time!

SOmeone else here grew mushrooms like this. I will need to find it.
