Anyone have issues with Sprout timers?

I just recently got one and the timer doesn't seem to come on the exact same time every day, it seems to come on later each day which I'm finding odd. It's still within the window where I can get a replacement or refund, wondering if I got a bum timer on this and should get a replacement? Or is this just how sprouts are? (Sorry for the repost, I think I may have posted in a really quiet section of the forums, and this is somewhat time sensitive)
