The year old Jalapeno plant keeps producing. And it keeps producing peppers that rival what's growing on my "Craig's Jalapeno Grande" plant, so I'm not sure what makes these "mini" and Craig's "Grande"
Harvested a couple, and one Bulgarian carrot for tonight's dinner.

At one+ year old, do you find the roots of this pepper in the AG machine take over to the point you have to prune the roots as well? I’m considering putting a jalepeno and hierloom in one of the Bountys I have and wondering what the inside of that poor machine will look like and how to keep things in check.

I have been known to give my roots a haircut when out of control. But also turning your plant every few days help keep them contained in a loose yarn like ball. That is how all mine are kept. |

Those are some really good plant genes. Maybe you should save some of their seeds. I wonder if the AG jalapeño is a hybrid.

Jalapeno harvest today. On the left are 16 peppers harvested from this 15-month-old Aerogarden "Mini Jalapeno" kit. On the right are 15 peppers harvested from the Living Room Bounty from a seed called "Craig's Grande Jalapeno." Either the AGs aren't so mini, or Craig's aren't so grande.  |
