I was reading about the Farm Plus on the AG Site. It says the Farm Plus has dual 4.5 Gal. Reservoirs for water. Is that true? 9 Gallons total?

Not even close. I don't know why they say that.
More like 2.5 gal each side.

That's what I thought. My guess is 4.5 Gallon total, 2.25 Gallons per Bowl.

One thing I will say is with gardens well established in both halves, I find that I'm adding 3 gallons per week to each side to keep them topped off.

OK, someone talk me out of it. I'm getting really close to caving and buying a Farm Plus. They are on sale at AG. Thanks to Trump's tax cuts we are getting bonuses on Friday.

As much as I hate to say it, I really like mine, and if I didn't already have so many AGs that I have no place to put them, I'd even consider getting a second.

It's been beautiful here, temps in the mid to high 30's and so sunny. Bear in mind it's dry here, so it never seems cold like where I grew up in Upstate NY, in the winter. It was brutal, there. Pretty soon it will be sunny and warm all day and night! We have a winter storm warning for today through Friday morning, expecting 4-7 inches in town and up to a foot in the hills. We've had more snow this winter than the last few years. Here in the Interior, we don't get as much snow as the coastal areas and south of here. I can't wait to get back out to the mountains and forests to hike and the lakes and rivers to go fishing and camping! Wheeee!! |

My one knock on the Farm Plus is that where I can print an extender for the hood for a tall garden, the layout of the Farm Plus leaves you pretty well stuck permanently at 24"

I'm excited about the dual 60w light panels. Those should be plenty for the hottest peppers.

Cleaned out a bunch of trash from that room on Tuesday. Have a ton more to clean out. i'll also need to get rid of a lot of books (old software, statistical manuals and a bunch of other stuff I'll just never need again), as well as a cheapo bookcase or two.
I have a pair of 27" iMacs in that room, and it's been months since I've used either of them, so I'm kind of wondering whether I'll need to get rid of those, too.
