Since I explained how to tell a male from female eggplant (male having less seeds) I thought to seek out other produce. I am writing this for fun. I am not debating whether it is true or not and am not going to quote why it may be true vs false. With that said ...
Male vs. Female Bell Peppers
I have researched this and there are conflicting reports. Some believe it is a tale while other swear by it. I may have to test this theory someday (other feel free to do so yourself). Anyway here it goes.
A Male Bell Pepper has odd bumps on the bottom compared to the Female have even bumps.
Females have more seeds, however are better for eating raw and are sweeter. Males have less seeds and are better to cook with.

One other note, SOME say that unless you are going to save seeds from a produce it does not matter male or female. The only one I know to be true (even tho people say it does not work) is eggplants. I have tested this time and time and every time I pick a male no or barely any seeds while a female has tons. Mayne I am just an eggplant no seed whisperer LOL

They say females have four bumps on the bottom, male three. Female has more seeds and are sweeter. I don't know that I buy any of that.
