This is a very long running garden whose basils are now pretty spent. I have a parsley plant that I grew in the jalapeño GAL which I moved to this garden because it got so tall. Subsequent to this picture I terminated the basils and transferred 3 mature chive pods from another garden in their place. So now this garden is all chives and a parsley plant. I forgot the after pic (though this pic does include the transferred parsley - front center pod).

Here it is with the basils gone, and the mature chives transferred in their place. So I’ve got many chives plants, and one really big parsley plant.

It is. It was so tall that it was flopping over in front, like the chives are doing in back. I had to shove it back into the other plants and kind of entangle it to get it contained. Each individual leaf is like the size of a cats paw. Who gave my garden ‘roids?! Lol

I made chimichurri sauce last night with the huge parsley plant. This is the garden after harvesting for the sauce, with a big vacant space where the hugely mature parsley was (front, 2nd from right). Lots of new young growth coming in though.

Gave it a big trim yesterday. Used the parsley but not the chives. I know I should terminate the chives but I’m having trouble.
