My lettuce was on its way out so I terminated it last night and planted a Sweet Bell Pepper pod. On the box it says it’s good for all gardens but online it says it’s only for tall gardens. I bought it for my Bounty but I’m growing my tomatoes in that one.
Has anyone grown the sweet bells in a Harvest? If not, what peppers are good for that garden?

I have yet to grow them in a Harvest. But I can recommend the Sweet Heats (Parks) and also the Almapaprika I had.

I’ve never grown that kit but heard they taste great. It probably will ultimately need a tall machine but it’ll take a long time to get there so I see no reason you can’t start it in the Harvest. And maybe it’ll work in the Harvest full time- Just make sure you do the initial topping/prune. That’ll help keep it lower.

I have grown it in the old CFL Classic 7 and I believe the hood height is the same. It just fit..JUST. As Mary said, you may have to top it a bit every now and then.

While waiting for the seeds to come in a long dormant lettuce pod decided to sprout. I’m not sure how long they’ll last in this heat but I’m going to wait until they are done before planting the sweet heats.
