This diagram is hilarious because I had to move the big cuke leaves away from the little other seedlings. I hope I can make out what I even meant.

Never mind, they’ve already popped back up.

Oh brother, I had to rearrange again. Now there is an even greater margin for a Mary-error. Essentially, I moved the covered up sponges from under the cukes in the back to the front. The front was made available because I moved the jalapeños to a garden of their own for the GAL. I think this is a much better arrangement, if I can remember what I did.

I took the bigger cuke out and put it in the oldest herb machine. It really freed up space for the others. And I used covers as best I could for the northern 3 pods.

They’ve grown so much. Now you can barely see the hole covers in the back by the cuke. And a few days later even bigger

In this blasted heat, I don’t know what I’m gonna do about transplanting outside, lol.

They're doing so well. It's been so hot down there, I don't know how anything survives outside. I know I'd melt into a greasy puddle. Are you in an area where there's restricted water use, or is that over?

The 6 year drought is officially over (no doubt to be declared again soon) but most places still have some kind of water restrictions in place, albeit less onerous than before. My husband always ignored them anyway.

It can get pretty obvious when our lawn is lush and green and our flowers keep flowering, while others’ lawns are parched brown and dying. We never were cited though. Just had to pay the stepped up price tier/penalty on the water bill. I’m glad I don’t see those bills. It would be a significant source of conflict if I did.

At least it must be easy for people to find your house. "Just look for the (only) one with the yard that isn't dried up and dead". d45692
