My first attempt with AG cherry tomatoes in my Bounty looks to be less than desirable. I followed the guide on the AG website. Several of the branches turned brown and fell of just touching the plant. Many of the blossoms fell off after pollinating. After 49 days, I have 4 tomatoes on one plant and nothing on the other.
One thing that concerns me is that the pump has run nonstop since I set the Bounty for tomatoes. Is this normal for tomatoes...for the pump to run constantly...27/7? Are my plants over-watered?

It could be several things
But the one that I have had to deal with is feeding
The water needs to be emptied out of the bowl and filled with a pre-mixed solution of nutrients.Maybe you overfed them?
Yes,The pump runs 24/7 after going through the first 2 weeks in germination mode.

I wish I could help. My very first attempt I failed at (an no MaryL it was not your fault LOL). I pruned it incorrectly and while there were a couple tomatoes growing I ended it. Sometime the first try with tomatoes for my anyway are hard.
However if you try it again or even with the current one, post pictures and maybe the members can give advice and assistance.
Hope you give it another try at some point or keep this one going.

What kind of water were you using, tap, well, distilled, etc ? Did you remember to shake the bottle of nutrients? How many cap fulls did you use in each feeding? How hot has it been where you have your AG?
One problem that may have caused the blossoms to drop is that you really do need to supplement your feeding with a Calcium and Magnesium food, as well. I use CALiMAGic from General Hydroponics. The rotting of branches sounds like environmental, since they're not old plants sloughing off old branches.

Sorry for the delayed response. Had a lot going on over the past few weeks. I do use distilled water and I use 3 caps of AG plant food (shaken...not stirred!) when the garden tells me (AG Bounty). I do change out the water every 2 weeks, but forgot at the first 2 week period. Temp in this room stays a constant 75 degrees. I have not used Calimagic, but just ordered a bottle from Amazon.
Out of the 2 plants, one looks like cherry tomatoes, but the other looks to be something in between cherries and full tomatoes. Several tomatoes have a diameter of 3 inches!
Once these ripen, I will try again only after reading through all the tomato posts and accounting for all the tips you all have provided!

3”!! Wow, yes I’d say that’s not their cherry tom. They had a bigger tomato variety a some years ago, which I understand they’ve recently brought back, so maybe you got an errant seed. But that’s pretty cool, you got two types for the price of one!

I ordered the Calimagic. I thought my tomato plants were all but done...waiting for the few tomatoes to ripen. Well, I gave them a dose of the Calimagic and within a week the plants grew another 3 inches, many new leaves and now starting new buds. The plants look totally different than a couple of weeks ago. I guess I found what my issue was! Thanks for the advise!

My first two cherry tomato plants are into their 6th week. One plant has 4 or 5 small yellow buds, one fell off. Just how big do the buds get? How long after do any tomatoes appear? I really need help on this one.

The buds don’t get much bigger. Be sure to pollinate them. The fruiting gardens (tomatoes and peppers) are the slowest of the gardens to develop.

It looks like planting 2 cherry tomatoes in my Harvest Touch didn't cause any problems except had to do a lot of pruning. Results were very respectful.
