And my power went off this morning for about 15 minutes and of course lost the Harvest lost the connection to WiFi. So if I was using the app it would be back to the starting point all over again.

I am sorry you are having so many issues with the Wi-Fi. As for power outage, I do have all my units set up to a battery backup. I have a couple of these UPS Systems.

So Nick what are those in the link? If the power goes off as far as I know there is no alternate power. I guess batteries?

A UPS like the one in the link has all 6 outlets as a surge protector and three of the 6 are battery backup. Depending on what you have running it will battery operate whatever is in it for a number of hours determined by the UPS.
I also have a more expensive one for all my electronics and computer, printer and more AG's. This one has 12 outlets all surge and 6 of then are battery backup. All in all between me and my hubs I think there are 5 of them if not more in our home. We also have a whole house generator, so the backups are good that it keeps everything on until the generator kicks in.

So Nick what are those in the link? If the power goes off as far as I know there is no alternate power. I guess batteries? Yes. Shawn linked to a Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system. They do contain batteries and power conditioning equipment inside. You buy them based on the battery capacity you need to sustain power for a particular period of time. For example: My home computer server uses about 65 watts (104VA) of power when it's idle and my 1300VA UPS can supply it with a little under an hour of power during a power outage. After that period of time if power service hasn't been restored the battery will die. Thankfully most power outages aren't that long so for something like an AeroGarden you probably don't need a large UPS to keep it from being reset during a power blip.
